We are very happy to announce that Zachary T. Crawford is the 2018 Lara D. Gass Law Scholarship recipient. We were struck by his innate affection towards the Innocence Project, having worked with the organization even before entering law school. Further, Zac’s drive to help the less-fortunate was apparent by his desire to become a public defender or wherever he will “be of most use to the people who need help the most.” After graduation from law school in May 2019, he will be clerking for a federal district court judge in Birmingham, AL.
