CHARITY BEER FESTIVAL

After three years of brainstorming and two years of implementation, the first annual Among The Pines beer festival was a rousing success. We would like to thank everyone involved, specifically Precious Things Fermentation Project, all 18 attending breweries that donated their beer, the volunteers that donated their time, and the band/food vendors that helped this event become such a hit.

Due to the overwhelming show of support from the Spokane beer community, this event was able to raise nearly $5,000 for the LiveLikeLara Foundation. Those funds will benefit local-to-Spokane non-profits as well as the Lara D. Gass Memorial Scholarship at the Washington & Lee School of Law.

We’re already dreaming of next year’s fundraiser; meandering through the woods sampling brews from numerous local breweries, eating handmade cuisines, and listening to tasty tunes. Truly, thank you to everyone that made this day happen.
